How we met:

We met through mutual friends our freshman year of college at the University of Minnesota Morris. We quickly became friends and stayed friends throughout the year. Garrett then transferred to a different school the following year and Jasmine finished her degree at Morris. We didn't stay in touch much until Jasmine was accepted into graduate school at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, where Garrett was finishing his degree. Garrett reached out and we reconnected! 

Who made the first move:

Garrett made the first move after we reconnected. 

What first attracted us to each other:

We both felt like we could talk for hours without ever running out of things to say, and being together just felt easy!

Our favorite ways to spend time together:

Talking for hours, going on walks or hikes, watching movies, watching or playing sports together, going on adventures, and having a night to ourselves.

How we got engaged: 

We took a trip out to Glacier National Park with Garrett's family. During this vacation we hiked up Grinnell Glacier and at the top Garrett asked Jasmine to marry him!

Why did we decide on a destination wedding:

We both love traveling and the beach!
